FAMCare Web Services

The Visions Server allows for utilization of "web services".  Web services simply put is the ability for systems to "talk" to each other.  Where web services makes the most sense if you have data in one system that needs to feed into another system.

With the Visions Server - your FAMCare system can read and "consume" data from another third party or legacy system so that you don't have to enter your data twice.  In a different scenario - data that is entered into your FAMCare system can be "exposed" so that another third party or legacy system can "consume" that data from the other end.

In most cases, software that utilizes web services can do one or the other.  They can either expose or consume data.  The Visions Server allows for both.
